MEMBERS-ONLY SPECIAL EVENT – NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
Join our design team!
Oregon ASLA and the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance program (NPS RTCA) are partnering to create a conceptual plan for the Lewis & Clark Greenway Trail, a 46-mile regional trail that is envisioned to connect Ridgefield to Washougal along the northern bank of the Columbia River.
Oregon ASLA invites members to participate in a full-day charrette November 18, 2017 in Vancouver. We are assembling a team of up to 16 professionals and 8 students. Our work will include working with key stakeholders and elected officials to develop conceptual designs and alignment alternatives for the future trail.
The charrette provides a rare opportunity for the landscape architecture communities from Oregon and Washington to gather, learn from each other, and lend our expertise and abilities to the beginnings of this regionally significant trail in Clark County.
Are you an experienced trail designer? An expert meeting facilitator? Great with graphics?
We are seeking participants with a diversity of knowledge, skills and abilities at all stages of their careers. Participation in the charrette will be based on a competitive selection process. Students, emerging professionals, mid-career and experienced professionals are all encouraged to apply. Applicants must be Oregon or Washington ASLA members in good standing.
Light breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.
