Topic: Designing Bike Rooms and Parking – for Indoor, and Outdoor Projects

Learning Objectives:
· Learn best practices of designing a bike parking area, and how to create a space that is highly functional, secure, and accommodates a wide variety of users and bike types
· Understanding APBP standards, Declare Program - Living Building Challenge, and LEED requirements related to bike parking.
· Understand the needs and journey of cyclists and the variety of factors (including the location type, local bike trends, climate, and user types) to address the needs of users and create a space that is functional, secure, and desirable.
· How to design to maximize density and comply with ADA requirements.
