As an emerging landscape architecture professional, you are tomorrow’s industry leader. The profession you have chosen is diverse, broad in scope and scale. Your education prepared you not only as a designer, but a beautifier, a problem-solver and a translator between the allied professions.
Emerging Professionals Group
Continue to develop your knowledge and skills through the opportunities ASLA membership and involvement in the E.P. group provides.
This group appeals to the young professional who desires engagement with other landscape architecture professionals. The group is currently active in conducting social hours, sketching sessions, walking tours, office visits, volunteer opportunities, and professional workshops and seminars.
The mission of the Emerging Professionals (EP) group is to identify and respond to the needs of those who are new to the profession of Landscape Architecture in Oregon.

Mentorship Opportunities
The ASLA has a Mentorship Program open to student and professional ASLA members. This is a unique online networking and career development tool that connects ASLA members at different stages in their career who match interests. The program is self-guided, with mentors and mentees working together to determine the goals and timeframe of the relationship. Your mentor or mentee can be in the same city or on the other side of the world. It is a great way to learn from each other, connect, and create lasting connections.
