Join us for a day of exploration and inspiration as we tour three standout landscape architecture projects in Southern Oregon.
We begin at the Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon, where the third and final phase of its landscape master plan, designed by Terrain Landscape Architecture, will have just been completed. At 12:00 PM, Sam Bickel of Terrain will lead a guided tour, offering insights into the design’s evolution and its role in creating engaging outdoor spaces for children and families.
Next, at 2:00 PM, we’ll visit the peaceful Ashland Japanese Garden, where James Day of Solid Ground Landscape will provide a tour, showcasing the garden's artful balance of cultural design and local landscape features.
Our final stop is at Naumes Suncrest Winery at 4:00 PM, another stunning project by Terrain Landscape Architecture. Take in the beautiful surroundings while enjoying a glass of wine and charcuterie—included with your reservation fee—as we wrap up the day.
This tour is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow ASLA members, learn about innovative landscape projects, and enjoy the best of the Rogue Valley’s natural and designed environments. Don't miss this unique event!
