Shadow Mentor Day is an annual event hosted by the Oregon ASLA Chapter. Participating firms will be matched with a current UO landscape architecture student and will host the student(s) at their own office and show them a day in the life of working in landscape architecture. Mentors are expected to take the student(s) from a breakfast meeting to their office for the day, and then bring the student(s) to the ASLA-sponsored Happy Hour. This event will be taking place in both Portland and Eugene and a sign-up form is soon to follow. For now, this is just a save-the-date (Jan 31 2025) and may be subject to change.
