About this Course:
Urban Lighting & Space Design
The goal of this course is for you to acquire a better understanding of how our ever evolving urban spaces need more opportunities for humans to connect, interact, and live. We will focus on how the city of Denver – pioneers of the urban pedestrian mall concept – have reimagined the 16th Street Mall and the approach to lighting the space to better address the needs of the human inhabitants using the space.

About the Instructor:
Andrew Hojnacki serves as Lighting Sales Specialist for Landscape Forms, an industry leader in high-design site furniture and advanced outdoor LED lighting. Andrew’s role is to stay abreast with new technology and to provide expert technical and product support. Andrew is involved in developing and implementing lighting training with the Landscape Forms sales force. He also works with landscape architects, lighting designers, engineers, and other end-users to provide lighting solutions for outdoor spaces. Andrew received his B.B.A. from Western Michigan University, and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
