Willamette Valley Section Event - Pollinator Conservation in the Built Environment

Pollinator Conservation in the Built Environment

Bees are struggling due to habitat loss, pesticides, and disease, but the good news is that there are things we can do to make our landscapes better for bees. Matthew Shepherd of the Xerces Society will introduce you to the diversity of Oregon’s native bees, discuss the four principles of pollinator conservation, and provide examples of how to apply those in the various greenspaces in our built environment. There are also community science projects to join in and other ways to engage your community.

Please join us for an online presentation and discussion and RSVP. This talk is currently planned for Thursday 3/17 at 12:00pm, but may move to 11:30am - stay tuned! UOregonZoomEvent
