Juncus Studio, a dedicated landscape architecture firm, is excited to welcome an experienced and talented Landscape Architect to our expanding team. This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of professionals to design outstanding public spaces, parks, trails, and habitat restoration projects across the Pacific Northwest.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Landscape Architect with 8 to 15 years of professional experience and a degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
- Highly motivated, well-organized, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Expertise in leading and managing complex projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
- Able to produce construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates.
- Can lead / manage construction administration for a project.
- Experienced in public outreach with strong presentation skills for clients, communities, and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in diverse environments and varied terrains.
- Passionate about native ecosystems and integrating sustainable practices into designs.
Responsibilities:
- Key role in multi-disciplinary project teams, focusing on recreational spaces, habitat restoration, and community engagement.
- Lead and manage projects for public parks, waterfronts, and trails, from master planning to construction documentation to construction administration.
- Oversee junior staff, providing mentorship and career development guidance.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, biologists, planners and other specialists to achieve project goals.
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, and marketing efforts.
